I don’t know about you, but I am always on the lookout for new artists and songs to add to my Spotify playlist and iTunes. There are so many amazing artists out there and it seems everyone has a different favorite (I’m totally not complaining- finding new music to play 100 times in a row while I drive is pretty much the best.) Some of our writers and I wanted to share with you all a few of our current favorites that I hope you will love, too!
Riley’s Favorite: The Ocean by Mike Perry (Featuring Shy Martin)
“This one of those songs that you get goosebumps to within seconds of hearing it of the first time. It just sounds like pure love, adventure, and summertime! Listen and I promise you will be hooked on these good vibes and the replay button. P.S. the music video is even better!”
Paige’s Favorite: Shades of Grey by Oliver Heldens and Shaun Frank (Nora En Pure Remix)
“This song speaks to me because it has a fun dance beat that is easy to sing along with. The reason I like the remix is because it is a mood booster but also gives a calm beat to accompany almost any mood I am in. ”
Isabelle’s Favorite: Catch and Release by Matt Simons (Deepend Remix)

Hunter’s Favorite: Dancing On My Own by Callum Scott
“This is his version of Robyn’s song and I’m absolutely entranced every time I hear it. It has this hauntingly beautiful quality that few songs can capture and his voice is simply brilliant.”
Katie’s Favorite: Shape of you by Ed Sheeran
“I love to sing along when this song plays on the radio! It’s super fun and always puts me in a good mood like all of Ed Sheeran’s stuff seems to do.”
Madison’s Favorite: Anything by the band Milky Chance
“I have always had a special joy for upbeat, alternative and indie sounds but with the subtle Blue Ridge influence and steady beats of Milky Chance, I consistently fall for all of their work. This month I have been especially enjoying their songs ‘Ego’ as well as ‘Cocoon.’ I highly suggest everyone take a listen to their Pandora Radio station as well; seriously ideal study vibes or just to hang out to.”
