Big lips are all the hype lately, especially thanks to the big and luscious lipped celebrity: Kylie Jenner. She has been flaunting new lips that were close to non-existent before. Jenner claims she got these voluptuous lips without going under the needle… and rumor has it that this product was behind the magic.
So what is this miracle product?
Candy Lipz are small beauty products used to make your lips fuller. They are cup-like products that you place onto your lips and suck onto, creating a suction. You can begin to feel the blood being pulled into your lips, which is what makes them plumper. It says to leave the product onto your lips for two minutes at a time until your desired lip size is achieved.
Candy Lipz comes in four unique models. Two are made for smaller lips and come in cuter packaging that resembles a small apple. Model A is meant for a fuller lip look with a double lobe in the bottom lip, while Model B just gives overall fuller lips. Models C and D are made for lips that are already a decent size, but could use some extra plumping. Model C is for a double lobe bottom lip, while Model D is for a single lobe. Each model is $69.99, which may seem a little steep, but is a great deal cheaper when you consider cosmetic surgery costs.
So does it work?
This product almost seems too good to be true, so I had to try it out personally. Believe it or not, after a two minute treatment on my lips there was a significant difference. As I went even longer, my lips became even larger.
I personally used Model D, which my friends also tried and had similar results. The real key is using this product correctly. When suctioning the Candy Lipz to your lips, it must be suctioned so well that it can stay put without holding it.
Are there any side effects?
While this product most definitely did what it claims to do, I definitely need to cover the possible side effects, especially considering I personally experienced it. Just after the first two minutes of suctioning my lips, I had bruises all around my lips. The bruises looked similar to hickeys around my mouth. I personally was not very fond of the bruising and if you would not be a fan of it either then this product may not be for you.
My friend however went through the suggested conditioning period of seven days and the bruising eventually stopped and she was able to get full and beautiful lips without any noticeable side effects.
Because this is a new product, long-term side effects are not clear. But many believe that long-term usage may eventually cause the skin around your lips to wrinkle easier since it is being pulled and bruised.
Overall, this is an awesome product once you get passed the conditioning phase. Candy Lipz is a perfect alternative to permanent surgeries or lip plumping products that produce minimal changes. Full, plump and beautiful lips are just an order away!
