One of the most overlooked benefits of being in a relationship is that you instantly have access to a whole new set of clothing that you have never worn before! You do not believe me? Well, here are just a few ways that you can use your boyfriend’s closet to your advantage, while still keeping your sense of style:
His Denim Shirt
There is a reason why guys are almost constantly wearing jeans – once worn in, they are the most comfortable items for our lower halves, while still remaining socially acceptable. A man’s bond with his favorite pair of jeans can rival that of his dog, or even his car! Needless to say, a good deal of this relationship carries over to his denim shirt as well.
So why not capitalize on this menswear staple and incorporate it into your own look? Pair his comfy denim shirt with a simple white t-shirt or halter top, black leggings, and red sneakers for a simple look that will remind you of him in all the right ways! To easily up the glam factor, instead opt for a pair of leather leggings and red heels.

If you are coming off a night of intense partying, the last thing you want to do the next morning is go through the hassle that often comes with looking your best! So instead of worrying about how well your clothes fit you at that moment, simply reach into his closet and pull out one of his numerous sweatshirts that I am sure have taken up permanent residency.
The generosity provided by the masculine cut of the garment will be a welcome addition to your outfit, not to mention that menswear offerings tend to provide more fun graphics and logos for clothing than similar items in womenswear. Embrace this look with a simple pair of slim jeans and your favorite white trainers – just this once, function can rule over form!

With all of the different types of clothing available, why limit yourself to t-shirts and gym shorts? Believe it or not, men love to accessorize too, even if they will not admit it!
Take advantage of this fact by incorporating his watch into your look. This accessory plays well with other “street style” inspired clothing, such as tank tops and denim shorts. Or you could go the more traditional route by snagging his baseball cap. Does he have any leather arm bands (he’d never call them bracelets, of course)? Feel free to throw those on as well!

As you can see, there are a ton of possibilities lurking in the closet of your significant other! And if you are single, fear not for I am sure you have a brother or male friend who would not mind temporarily contributing to your sense of style. Use the masculine edge of his clothing as a foil to your own femininity and you will have a look that will be fashion forward and, more often than not, super comfortable.
